Night Porter

Night Porter (10:00pm – 6:00am)

Location: The Vedanta, Branston, Lincoln, LN4 1PQ

Hours: 10pm – 6am (Night Shift)

Full time and part time available, paying £14 per hour.

We are seeking a reliable, calm and proactive Night Porter to join our team at our tranquil Wellness Retreat Centre. This role is essential in ensuring our guests experience comfort, safety and serenity throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming and checking in late-arriving guests in a warm and professional manner

• Maintaining cleanliness of the ground floor areas, including regular toilet checks

• Cleaning and maintaining the pool, spa area, and massage rooms to high hygiene standards

• Ensuring the lobby area remains tidy and presentable

• Replenishing the tea and coffee station as required

• Being available to assist guests with requests (e.g., additional towels, guidance, support)

• Responding promptly and calmly to emergencies, including fire alarms or safety concerns

• Responsible and trustworthy with the ability to work independently

• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Friendly and guest-focused

• Flexible and dependable

Experience in hospitality or a similar role is preferred but not essential — full training will be provided.
