Information

Please help us make this a memorable experience for you by paying attention to the following house rules.

General

-
We operate a no-shoes policy indoors (except when inside the gym) to encourage an environment of total relaxation and positivity. Please feel free to bring a pair of indoor slippers if you like, and slippers are also available to purchase if you’ve forgotten yours. We have provided shoes for use within the public toilets, please make sure you leave the shoes there when finished.
-
We serve to create an atmosphere of love and interconnection and therefore maintain a vegetarian policy throughout the entire estate. Non-vegetarian food and smoking are not allowed anywhere in the building or on the grounds.

-
We do not have a bar within our establishment, but if required, we have partnered with a mobile company which provides alcoholic drinks on site. Please let us know your requirements, and we can discuss booking this package through our trusted partner.

Accessibility

-
The Vedanta strives to offer the best possible standards of customer care to each guest, no matter what their needs might be. The main part of the building dates back to the 1800’s, yet we have tried wherever possible to be wheelchair accessible.
-
We have lift access to most of our floors, but the lift is not large enough for a wheelchair. Please feel free to call us in advance to discuss your specific needs.

Wellness

-
Guests have exclusive 24/7 access to our Gym which features a variety of equipment for your workout. Please use headphones if you would like to listen to music during your workout.
-
We have a Spa onsite, including a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and treatment room. There are lockers and changing rooms available within the Spa. This is available if your retreat has booked the Spa Package. The Spa is open 7am-9am and 5pm-9pm. The entire Spa area is without a lifeguard and The Vedanta does not accept any responsibility for guests using the facilities. Children under the age of 14 cannot use the spa, and must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian when using the swimming pool.
-
We also have a Meditation Room where you can meditate, read or just be. There is an excellent selection of books you are welcome to browse. We can make most of these books available to purchase – please ask a member of staff if you wish to do so.
