Lead Trainers

Adam Duke (E-RYT 500)
Adam Duke trained and completed his 200hr and 300hr YTTs in traditional Hatha Yoga at Ayuryoga EcoAshram in Mysore, India. He was invited to join the faculty due to his dedication to the school and his advanced practice. He taught 200hr and 300hr YTTs as a lead asana teacher under the guidance of Krishna Caitanya (Ramakrishna-Vivikanada Monastic Order, Bihar School of Yoga, Himalayan Tradition of Swami Rama). Adam also draws deeply from his teachers from Sivananda Yoga and Bhakti Yoga (Gaudiya Vaishnavism) lineages. He received mantra initiation (mantra diksha) from Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amritapuri Ashram). In 2026, Adam joined The Vedanta and co-created The Vedanta School of Yoga alongside his partner Tiana. Adam has a background in coaching children’s recreational gymnastics as a certified coach (Gymnastics Ontario) with over 10 years of experience. He has a specialty in inversions and advanced arm balances and offers workshops globally. Adam has a deep appreciation for children and is a certified family and children’s yoga teacher (Rainbow Kids Yoga). Before finding yoga, Adam was an amateur skateboarder and music producer (with releases through Universal Music). He is a creative visual artist with pieces and murals on display around the world. He participates in and leads kirtan (devotional chanting) with a passion for music and sacred sound. He has taught at studios, spas, retreats, and YTTs in Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, India, Sri Lanka, and Europe, among others. Adam approaches his classes with playful discipline and a smile on his face. He blends asana, pranayama, stories, philosophy, and energetics. He is constantly learning from students’ feedback to teach from a place of accessibility, balanced with challenge and a good dose of fun. Adam’s teaching style leans towards classical hatha yoga, but he also enjoys practising and teaching vinyasa, yin, kids yoga, and meditation. Adam is constantly learning and growing as a teacher and practitioner. He happily invites conversation in his classes with the intention to really hear his students and learn from others as he plants seeds of spiritual inquiry and yogic exploration. You can catch Adam singing to cows, eating lots of watermelon, painting bright contemporary art pieces, skateboarding, and spending time in nature. He is a lover of all plants and animals. Adam is honoured and humbled to teach at The Vedanta School of Yoga.

Tiana Prince (E-RYT 500, YACEP)
Tiana Prince is an international yoga and movement educator specializing in creative Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Since 2018, she has shared her passion for yoga globally, leading teacher trainings, retreats, and continuing education courses across Europe, Peru, India, Canada, and beyond. Holding a Bachelor of Education (Artist in Community Education) from Queen’s University in Canada, Tiana worked as an arts and language teacher in Canada and abroad before transitioning to yoga full-time. She draws from her pedagogical background, as well as her roots as a competitive dancer, dance teacher, and theatre artist, to offer immersive classes that blend intelligent sequencing, creative embodiment, music, storytelling, and somatics. Tiana leads foundational yoga teacher trainings in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, alongside specialized courses in Bhakti Yoga and Somatic Movement. She also teaches Kids Yoga and started free community yoga programs for children in Costa Rica and Peru while she was living there. Tiana co-founded Salisa Retreats, focusing on women’s retreats worldwide. Alongside yoga, she loves leading nature excursions and meditations, kirtan (devotional chanting), and workshops in poetry and reading as a spiritual practice. Tiana completed her initial 200-hour training at Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico, where she fell in love with kirtan. This inspired her to complete her 300-hour teacher training in Bhakti Yoga with Audrey Sarquilla, and to spend time studying and volunteering in spiritual communities and Bhakti ashrams around the world. A dedicated, lifelong student, Tiana continually expands her practice and offerings. She has trained in Sound Healing and Bhakti Yoga with Govardhan School of Yoga, Shake the Dust® with Satu Tuomela, and SacredDance with Niki Coate. She completed a personal mentorship and various courses in embodiment with Collette Davis (Samāveśa Yoga), and continues to study yoga philosophy, history, and mythology. Tiana is deeply honored to guide and support trainees at The Vedanta School of Yoga, and she is committed to creating a space that balances structure and freedom, empowering practitioners to follow their own curiosity and passion into deeper connection.
