  1. Lincoln Cathedral Events: Throughout December, Lincoln Cathedral will be hosting a series of live music events. From an orchestral screening of The Snowman to a Bublé Big Band Concert, you can expect some fantastic shows this Christmas.   2. Wintertime Wonders at Doddington Hall: Experience a mesmerising journey through ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ at Doddington Hall. From partridges in pear trees to drummers drumming, you will find stunning installations spread across three floors of this beautiful Elizabethan Hall.

  3. Lincoln Castle Illuminated: The magical and much-loved Christmas event will give families and friends the perfect and unmissable opportunity to get into the festive spirit. You will be able enjoy the castle grounds bejewelled with festive lights and illuminated Christmas features, take a trip down Candy Cane Lane, and give your warmest season’s greetings to the resident castle dragons

  4. Belton House Enchanted Christmas: Visit Belton House, a National Trust property, for their Enchanted Christmas event. The stately home is beautifully decorated, and there are often seasonal activities for visitors of all ages.

  5. Winter Walks: Take a winter walk in the scenic countryside or along the coast. Lincolnshire has beautiful landscapes, and a brisk winter walk can be a peaceful and refreshing way to enjoy the season.

  6. Christmas Lights Walking Tour: Enjoy a free evening walking tour under Lincoln’s fantastic Christmas lights on 7, 14, 21 December. This festive tour will start in the iconic Cathedral Quarter, following the lights down to the beautiful Cornhill Quarter. Discover the history of Lincoln; with some festive stories thrown in along the way.

  7. Medieval Christmas Market: Held at St Mary le Wigford Chiurch in the city centre brings history to life. Think music, spiced punch, and hand made gifts. You can also take the opportunity to explore St Mary le Wigford, built over a thousand years ago.

  8. Christmas getaway at The Vedanta: Experience the spirit of togetherness at The Vedanta. An all inclusive getaway with yoga sessions, spa, gym and games room, and more!
